Cows are big animals that make a big mess. Automatic alley scrapers that run continuously help keep the barn clean.
SCR collar
Each of our cows wears a collar that is like an advanced pedometer. It tells the computer how active she is, how long she is eating, chewing her cud and resting each day. It alerts us if a cow is doing any of these more or less than normal, allowing us to check her out and make sure she is ok. Faster response times means we have better chances at getting her back to normal quickly.
24/7 Surveillance
Keeping an eye on our cows allows us to act quickly if there is a problem. Cows can sometimes end up in a bad situation that requires human intervention.
A2A2 Milk Separation
We use the robot to separate out milk from cows we genetically confirmed for only producing the A2A2 beta-casein version of milk.
